This ward provides treatment and monitoring for patients as follows:

  • Caring for cardiovascular patients requiring accurate monitoring of vital signs including Myocardial Infarction (MI), Unstable Angina, Hypertension (HTN), and Pulmonary Thromboembolism (PTE)
  • Warfarin and digoxin toxicity
  • Heart Failure (HF), acute pulmonary edema, and cardiac tamponade
  • VF, VT, AF, and PAT arrhythmias and heart block patients requiring precise hemodynamic and vital signs monitoring
  • Monitoring and evaluating hemodynamic and electrolyte changes, monitoring airway, breathing, heart, and renal and cardiac function of patients
